In my favorite place on earth, I got to capture Katelyn and Josh’s Cape Cod engagement photos.

Cape Cod is a special place in the summer. In late August as the summer is coming to a close there is an extra special feeling. It’s as if you can feel summer slipping away and everyone is trying to soak it up as much as possible.

The sun and ocean were beautiful as always on this late summer evening, and it was the perfect backdrop for these two.

Here is my list of my favorite go-to spots for engagement photos in upper Cape Cod –

1. The Knob: The location of my photographs below! The Knob is a favorite, as I personally got engaged in this very spot! I am absolutely in love with the unique view of the marina, the rocky beach, and of course the sprawling ocean view. This is for sure at the top of my list!
2. Town Neck Beach & Boardwalk: This beach offers it all with a gorgeous boardwalk leading out to the sand, as well as dunes, rocks by the water, and more. My favorite part of this spot is the boardwalk. It offers a unique backdrop for engagement photos and wedding photos alike.
3. Nobska Lighthouse: The Nobska Lighthouse in Falmouth is a stunning spot for engagement photos. The lighthouse overlooks the ocean, and there are beautiful gardens and pathways that make for great photo backdrops.
4. Woods Hole: Woods Hole is an adorable village in Falmouth with plenty of picturesque spots for engagement photos. The quaint streets, beautiful waterfront views, and beautiful gardens are perfect for capturing beautiful memories.
5. Heritage Museums & Gardens: Located in Sandwich, Heritage Museums & Gardens is a great spot for engagement photos. The gardens are expansive and offer a variety of beautiful flowers and plants to use as a backdrop.
6. Sandy Neck Beach: Sandy Neck Beach in Barnstable is a popular spot for engagement photos. The beach offers stunning views of the ocean, dunes, and marshes, making it an ideal location for romantic photos. This beach can be a bit more crowded, so keep that in mind.
7. Bourne Farm: Bourne Farm in Falmouth is a beautiful location for engagement photos. The farm features rolling hills, a beautiful barn, and a charming farmhouse that make for perfect photo backdrops. I’ve captured engagement photos as well as wedding photos here.
