Malibu engagement sessions: there’s something undeniable about this enchanting coastline. 2025 was off to a tough year for this special place, as the wildfires devastated the area. Much of the areas in these photos have been harmed and my heart mourns. I’m so glad that I got to capture Mel & Karee here last summer before it happened. The salty breeze, the golden hues of the California sunset, and the rolling cliffs create an effortlessly romantic atmosphere – and add a vintage car into the mix, this session was timeless. 

The magic unfolded as the couple cruised down the highway, wind teasing through their hair, laughter echoing against the cliffs. Moments of pure bliss were captured as she leaned into him, the sun casting golden reflections on their faces. Whether playfully adjusting her scarf in the rearview mirror or stealing a kiss at a quiet roadside pull-off, every shot felt cinematic and alive with emotion.

The golden hour was, without a doubt, the highlight of the day. As the sun melted into the ocean, the sky turned into a masterpiece of soft pinks and deep oranges. The couple stood beside their vintage car, bathed in the warm glow, their silhouettes a breathtaking testament to the beauty of love in its purest form. The contrast of modern romance and retro allure created a visual narrative that felt both nostalgic and refreshingly unique. Malibu engagement sessions have my heart.
